Bekkah Hacke Aarnes is a volunteer for The Stop Trafficking Project®. Bekkah worked alongside trafficking survivors both internationally and domestically for five years before making the decision to further her education in the human services field. Her passion is to walk alongside women and children in vulnerable situations, providing the support and tools needed to reach personal dreams and to live in a safe environment.
Bekkah has worked in the non-profit sector for the last decade and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Social Work and appreciates every opportunity to share her passion for justice and compassion with others. This passion led her to intern and volunteer with The Stop Trafficking Project® to help keep our children safer and to provide tools to equip caring adults.
In her free time, she enjoys time with her husband, Josh, and loves to run, bake, do puzzles and spend time with friends. Bekkah is also passionate about her faith in Jesus and attends a church in her local community. She recently started serving as one of the leaders of outreach with an organization called Serve785, reaching the Douglas County community.
